The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozar shoots in for a takedown but Taisumov shows good takedown defense.
Pozar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Pozar Pozar has been cut.
Pozar Pozar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pozar shoots in looking for a takedown. Taisumov tries to sprawl out of it but Pozar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taisumov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Taisumov slaps away a takedown attempt from Pozar, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pozar Pozar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taisumov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pozar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Taisumov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pozar.
Nice uppercut lands for Taisumov. That snapped Pozar's head back.
