Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tesco Vee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple man. Tesco Vee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Orange!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tesco Vee!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Orange. That snapped Vee's head back.
Vee looks to score with a jab to the body but Orange is just out of range.
Orange throws a sloppy head kick and Vee moves out of range easily.
Orange misses with a head kick.
Orange tries a head kick but it misses.
Orange misses with a head kick.
Orange throws a body shot but no joy.
A shot to the liver by Vee. Beautiful body shot.
Vee connects with a leg kick. Orange looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Orange keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A quick step to the side and Orange tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Orange lands with a right hand.

Vee moves out of range as Orange strikes.
Orange tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Orange avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Orange was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

And Vee tries to counter it with a takedown but Orange pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Vee counters with a single leg into guard. Orange didn't expect that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vee drives through with a takedown into Orange's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Orange wants to get back to his feet but Vee passes into half guard.
Vee wants to free his trapped foot but Orange is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Orange trying to hold on to Vee's head to control him but Vee postures up.
Orange tries to get to full guard but Vee has control of the leg.
Vee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Vee wants to control but Orange is keeping him busy.
Vee is thwarting Orange's attempts to control the position.
Orange wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Jake Orange is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tesco Vee will probably get the nod.
That's time! Orange's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Orange just misses with a punch to the body.
Orange is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Orange goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Vee tries to move into range but Orange moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Orange takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Vee throws a lazy right hand but Orange sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Orange throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vee.

Vee wants to counter the offense by Orange and move into the clinch position.

Vee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Orange tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vee wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Vee is chipping away with strikes.
Orange tries to escape but Vee is in control.
Tesco Vee has got the better of the ground game so far.
Vee controls the position.
Orange on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Orange wants to control but Vee postures up.

Vee tries to move into full mount but can't pass Orange's legs.
Orange is looking to regain half guard here but Vee keeps moving and retains side control.
Orange is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vee asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Orange is not content to let Vee control the position.

Vee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Vee is looking to take a break and control but Orange is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vee scores with a couple of short elbows.
Orange is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vee asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Orange is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Vee off and has taken his back!

Vee wants to improve his position but Orange is controlling well.
It looks like Orange is going to stand back up.
Orange wants to advance to full mount but Vee doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Tesco Vee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Orange clobbers Vee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Orange tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vee paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Orange moves in looking to clinch but Vee pushes him off.
Vee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Vee pushes Orange back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

I've got Vee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
