Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Gregorovitsj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Oppelaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregorovitsj's entrance music is Pink Panther Theme. A fine choice. Dennis Oppelaar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregorovitsj lands a high kick!
Gregorovitsj uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Oppelaar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gregorovitsj sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oppelaar somewhat.

It seemed like Oppelaar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Oppelaar's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Gregorovitsj throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Oppelaar is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gregorovitsj is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Oppelaar.

Oh Gregorovitsj is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gregorovitsj keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gregorovitsj tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oppelaar paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Well Gregorovitsj has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
