Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Jenkins Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Jenkins Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bubba Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Gracie.
Jenkins Jr throws a solid leg kick but Gracie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jenkins Jr.
Gracie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gracie wants it to stay on the feet.
Gracie tries to counter by closing the distance.
Jenkins Jr staying out of range there.
Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've been hearing reports that Jenkins Jr has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Gracie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jenkins Jr is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Jenkins Jr circles away and we're back to standing.
Jenkins Jr swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Jenkins Jr closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gracie's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jenkins Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jenkins Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jenkins Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jenkins Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie darts in and clinches Jenkins Jr up against the cage.

Jenkins Jr has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gracie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Gracie tries to break free.
Jenkins Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gracie prevents Jenkins Jr from getting a body triangle.
Jenkins Jr gets his hands free as Gracie looks to control.
Gracie rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Jenkins Jr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jenkins Jr wants to pass to mount but Gracie is defending the position.
Jenkins Jr works his foot free and advances to mount.
Gracie is squirming around, avoiding Jenkins Jr's attempts to control the action.

Gracie sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Jenkins Jr is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gracie sees it coming and defends easily.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jenkins Jr pulls his head out easily.

Jenkins Jr has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gracie looks to land a right hand but Jenkins Jr moved out of range.
Bubba Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jenkins Jr throws a big counter combination but Gracie scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Jenkins Jr is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around?
Gracie thuds his right hand into Jenkins Jr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jenkins Jr has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gracie regains guard immediately.

Gracie has his foot on Jenkins Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jenkins Jr works his way back into a safe position though.

Gracie is trying to maintain the position but Jenkins Jr is very close to passing his half guard.

Jenkins Jr swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gracie is now in Jenkins Jr's guard. A big mistake from Jenkins Jr there, giving up the dominant position!

Jenkins Jr is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jenkins Jr haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Jenkins Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Gracie misses with a body shot.

Gracie forces Jenkins Jr back against the cage and clinches.

Gracie is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jenkins Jr is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gracie to the mat. Gracie regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gracie tries to roll over but Jenkins Jr keeps him under control.
Gracie wants to control but Jenkins Jr is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Jenkins Jr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jenkins Jr lands in his opponent's guard.
Jenkins Jr is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jenkins Jr's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bubba Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Jenkins Jr, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Jenkins Jr against the cage but Jenkins Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jenkins Jr.
Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Jenkins Jr.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jeremy Jenkins Jr showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jenkins Jr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
