Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilfred Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by Mary Jane. Wilfred Trent has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thurgood Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wilfred Trent!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Jenkins lands an impressive looking overhand right. Trent doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Wilfred Trent has been cut.
Jenkins feints and then cracks Trent's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trent down.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Trent is looking for a takedown.
Trent is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Jenkins lands with a right to the head.
Jenkins lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Jenkins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Trent on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Jenkins throws a quick inside leg kick.
Trent tries to bum rush Jenkins with a series of wild strikes but Jenkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jenkins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Trent swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Jenkins lands a nice looking kick to the body. Trent takes a step back to recover.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jenkins connects with a nice looking jab.
Trent takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Trent shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jenkins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Trent looking to sit in guard and control but Jenkins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jenkins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jenkins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Trent tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jenkins cracks Trent with a big elbow.
Jenkins lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Trent sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jenkins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That has opened up Wilfred Trent's cut even more.
Jenkins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Jenkins stands up out of the half guard.

Jenkins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trent to the mat! Trent manages to get full guard.
Jenkins is looking to work some ground and pound but Trent has wrist control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jenkins working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Trent's head.
Jenkins won't allow Trent to sweep him here.
Jenkins scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Jenkins is pushing down on Trent's leg trying to pass to half guard. Trent is fighting to maintain full guard but Jenkins has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

The cut above Wilfred Trent's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jenkins lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jenkins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Trent is not content to let Jenkins control the position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Trent darts in looking for a takedown but Jenkins gets double underhooks and turns Trent into the cage.
Jenkins slips a jab and a cross from Trent.
Wilfred Trent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Trent takes a kick to the side of the head.

Trent is rocked!
Jenkins lands with a good body shot.
Trent is still on wobbly legs! Can Jenkins finish him?
Jenkins lands a nice looking body kick.
Jenkins connects with a superb combination that knocks Trent out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Jenkins before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Trent!
