The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haye connects with a leg kick. Gerald looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We've been informed that Haye has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A decent looking cross lands there for Haye.
Gerald definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gerald on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Haye. Haye obviously looking to wear him down.
Haye lands with a good body shot.
Haye throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gerald goes for a double leg but Haye avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Haye continues to drive forward.

Haye jerks Gerald's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Gerald drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Haye goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Haye because Gerald was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
