PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tupa Dufu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razbinos Udric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dufu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rock You Like A Hurricane. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Udric tries to clinch but Dufu moves out of range.
Dufu misses with a hook. Udric ducked under it nicely.
Udric doesn't manage to clinch there - Dufu circles away.
Dufu tests Udric's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dufu keeps the fight on the outside.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dufu checks a leg kick.

Udric has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Udric there as he acknowledges the shot.

Udric takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tupa Dufu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Udric with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dufu to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Udric takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Udric moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Udric takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Udric displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dufu throws out the jab.

Dufu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The fighters circling - Dufu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Dufu is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Udric tries to close the distance and clinch but Dufu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dufu cracks Udric with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Dufu is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Udric tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dufu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dufu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Udric's head backwards.
The fight stays on the outside here - Udric looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dufu shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Udric eats them both and turns towards Dufu to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Udric looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dufu is fending him off so far but Udric persists. Nope, Dufu circles away and we're back to standing.
Udric looks to score with a jab to the body but Dufu is just out of range.
Dufu scores with the left hand. Udric knows he should have avoided that one.

Dufu throws out a loose jab but Udric uses good head movement to avoid it.

Nice straight punches there by Dufu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dufu.

Dufu drops Udric with a beautiful combination! Udric stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dufu is looking for the KO!

Udric is rocked!
Dufu is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Dufu lands a left and a right that send Udric crashing to the mat, dazed. Dufu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dufu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Udric sprawling to the canvas! Udric rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dufu finish him?!
Udric looks winded!
Udric takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dufu is working the combinations to good effect here.
Dufu lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Udric out cold! Udric is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tupa Dufu!
A relieved looking Tupa Dufu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
