The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buchecha tries to keep at a distance but Murphy has taken the fight into the clinch.
Buchecha tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Murphy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Buchecha prevents it.
Buchecha is trying to pull guard but Murphy has him pressed against the cage.

Murphy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Murphy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Buchecha throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Murphy throws a right and a left that Buchecha avoids nicely.

Murphy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Buchecha circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murphy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Buchecha takes a swing at Murphy's ribcage but misses.
Buchecha misses the shot to the body.
Buchecha looks to score with a jab to the body but Murphy is just out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Murphy!

Murphy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Buchecha manages to avoid it.
Murphy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buchecha sprawls well. Buchecha wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Murphy gets slowly back to his feet.
Buchecha is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Murphy rather than just go for the knockout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Murphy enables Buchecha to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Murphy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Buchecha has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Murphy defend it? Buchecha steps over the head and cranks it - Murphy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Buchecha!
