Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeromy Mcdowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hollywood Hustler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hustler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hustler throws a head kick that misses.
Mcdowell tries to counter with a takedown but Hustler is quick to defend against it.
Hustler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcdowell's waist but Mcdowell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hustler off to one side.
Hustler drives through and clinches with Mcdowell against the cage.
Hustler wants the takedown. Mcdowell is fighting it off but Hustler persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mcdowell's guard against the cage.
Hustler is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mcdowell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hustler on the ground.
Mcdowell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hustler stands and throws Mcdowell's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hustler looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Mcdowell is trying to improve his position.
Hustler wants to stand but Mcdowell has his arm trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hustler controlling from side mount.
Hustler goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mcdowell rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hustler 's guard! Nice work there by Mcdowell!
Mcdowell won't allow Hustler to sweep him here.
Hustler wants to stand but Mcdowell is controlling the position.
Hustler has Mcdowell pulled in close to control his posture.

Mcdowell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hustler looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mcdowell has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hustler is on top in guard.
Hustler stays in close to Mcdowell's body and controls the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hustler is looking to advance position but Mcdowell has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Hustler slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hustler gets full guard.
Hustler has his hands on Mcdowell's head, controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A head kick misses from Hustler .
Jeromy Mcdowell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mcdowell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hustler paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hustler swats away the attempt to clinch by Mcdowell.
Hustler closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mcdowell's guard.
Hustler is stalling in the full guard.

Hustler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mcdowell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hustler has Mcdowell in his guard.
Hustler has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mcdowell is sitting in close to Hustler 's body. Hustler has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mcdowell is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mcdowell is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hustler .
