With a record of 24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pablo Escobar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dragon Slayer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayer moves out of range as Escobar throws a body kick.

It looked like Escobar was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Slayer misses with an uppercut. Escobar saw that one coming.
Escobar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Escobar. Slayer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Escobar blocks a jab.
Escobar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Slayer at a distance.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Slayer checks a leg kick.
Escobar scores with a nice right hand.
Slayer tries to clinch but Escobar is having none of it.
Escobar throws a quick counter kick to the body but Slayer avoids it.
Escobar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Slayer's hands.
Slayer throws out a powerful jab.
Slayer connects with the punch.
Slayer checks a leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Escobar.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pablo Escobar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escobar avoids the body shot from Slayer.

Slayer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Escobar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Slayer scrambles back to his feet.

Escobar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slayer.

Slayer throws a body punch but Escobar moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Escobar thumps Slayer with a low kick.
That kick from Escobar tenderised Slayer's leg. Slayer is trying to keep his angry face on.
Escobar cracks Slayer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Slayer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Escobar on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pablo Escobar will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Escobar batters Slayer with a massive right followed by a huge left! Slayer is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Escobar lands a final crushing right hand to drop Slayer to the mat with a gruesome thud! Escobar is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
