Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chang Thong Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Thong Song.
Johnson throws a quick counter kick to the body but Thong Song avoids it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Thong Song enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Thong Song manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Thong Song is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.
Johnson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Johnson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Thong Song for as long as he can get away with.

Thong Song is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Thong Song tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thong Song gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Thong Song throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Johnson escapes and throws Thong Song's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Johnson decides to stand back up. Johnson steps back and let's Thong Song get back to his feet.

Thong Song looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
