Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Apple moves into the clinch.
Dick has Apple pressed against the cage, preventing Apple from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Dick drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Apple gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dick lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Apple keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Dick scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Dick is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Dick thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Apple's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dick connects with a nice short shot to Apple's temple.

Apple really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dick is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Apple is hurt! He's hurt bad - Dick fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Apple from any more punishment! Congratulations to Dick! Great finish!
