Finyard comes to the cage accompanied by Everlast - What Its Like. DeBramalo has chosen Also Sprach Zarathustra as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finyard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt DeBramalo.

We've been informed that DeBramalo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

DeBramalo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Finyard manages to get himself to full guard.

Finyard has his foot on DeBramalo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. DeBramalo works his way back into a safe position though.

Finyard looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! DeBramalo has picked Finyard up and slammed him! Finyard can't keep hold of the triangle and DeBramalo manages to pass to side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Finyard is pressing down on DeBramalo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Finyard is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
DeBramalo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
DeBramalo wants to control from the top but Finyard keeps moving.

Finyard has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. DeBramalo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Finyard.

Well DeBramalo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
