Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turk comes to the cage accompanied by Status Quo- Deeper and Down. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

With a record of 22 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Willy Hardwood!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk misses with a jab to the body
and Hardwood counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hardwood fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Turk has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Turk bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hardwood's head backwards.
Hardwood connects with a right hand. Turk shakes it off.
Turk throws a head kick that half lands.
Braden Turk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardwood works the jab nicely.
Hardwood misses with a looping right.

That kick from Turk tenderised Hardwood's leg. Hardwood is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hardwood has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Hardwood takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hardwood fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Turk.

Turk swings for the body but Hardwood moves out of range.
Turk ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Hardwood gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hardwood tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Turk is able to avoid easily.

Turk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turk lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hardwood backwards.

Turk manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Braden Turk will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hardwood crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Turk - the referee stops the clock and Hardwood gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Turk. Hardwood manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Hardwood jabs Turk right on the nose. Turk blinks but takes it well.

Turk is rocked!
Turk walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hardwood checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Oh Turk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turk attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hardwood dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Turk. That did some damage!

Turk walks straight into a right hand from Hardwood - that's dropped him! Hardwood jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Turk from any more punishment! Turk complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
