Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Maven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maven throws a shot from downtown. Edgar moves away and avoids it.
Maven throws a right and a left that both miss.
Edgar tries for a takedown but Maven circles away easily
and Maven counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fighters circling - Maven throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Edgar drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Maven defends it well.
Maven rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Edgar counters with a shoot takedown. Maven fights it but they end up in guard.
Edgar slips nicely into half guard.
Edgar wants to take a breather but Maven is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edgar is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maven doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Edgar.
Edgar trying to advance position but Maven counters by regaining guard.

Edgar advances to half guard.
Maven wants to get back to full guard.
Edgar looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Edgar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Maven is in trouble now - Edgar has advanced to mount!
Edgar has isolated one of Maven's arms. Maven looking to fight him off but Edgar twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
