The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pokey tries a head kick but it misses.
Burns appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Pokey throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pokey throws a head kick but Burns moves out of range.
Pokey clinches up with Burns and pushes him back against the cage.
Burns using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Pokey has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Pokey is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Burns really is a fat lump.
Pokey is trying to break the clinch but Burns is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Burns misses with a knee to the head.
Burns tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pokey smiles and moves away.
Hokey Pokey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pokey pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pokey wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Burns slowing the pace effectively.

Pokey lands a head kick!
That kick from Pokey tenderised Burns's leg. Burns is trying to keep his angry face on.

Pokey lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Burns is rocked!
Pokey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Burns.
Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Pokey! This one is all over!
