The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hayes.
Wall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Wall closes the distance and clinches.
Wall lands with a light punch inside.
Hayes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wall lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hayes backwards.
Wall prevents the takedown attempt.
A short uppercut from Wall.
Hayes is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Wall is defending well.
Tobias Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Hayes.

Wall rushes Hayes and presses him up against the cage.

I was talking to Wall's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Wall lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Hayes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wall after a bit of a struggle.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wall creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Wall.
Wall lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Wall lands a nice shot to the body.
Wall is working Hayes over against the cage.
Wall lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Wall manages to break the clinch.
Wall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hayes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hayes is still on wobbly legs! Can Wall finish him?
Hayes tries to move into range but Wall moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wall drops Hayes with a naaaaasty hook - Hayes is in real trouble here! Wall dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tobias Wall!
Tobias Wall was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
