Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andriy Kuzmenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucian Silvestre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andriy Kuzmenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucian Silvestre!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuzmenko rushes Silvestre and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silvestre wants to break free but Kuzmenko has control.
A frustrated look appears on Silvestre's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Silvestre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kuzmenko misses with a low kick.
Silvestre's coach down at Killer Kittens was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Silvestre's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kuzmenko moves out of range of the strikes.
We've been told by Kuzmenko's head coaches at Russian Top Team Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Silvestre drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kuzmenko. Silvestre does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silvestre ducks straight into an uppercut from Kuzmenko and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Silvestre manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Lucian Silvestre has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuzmenko looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Kuzmenko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Kuzmenko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Silvestre throws a looping overhand right but Kuzmenko ducks down to avoid it.
Kuzmenko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Silvestre misses with a straight left.
Kuzmenko lands with a hook. Silvestre tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Silvestre slips a jab and a cross from Kuzmenko.
Silvestre throws out a counter right but Kuzmenko avoids it with no problem.
Silvestre darts in and clinches Kuzmenko up against the cage.

Silvestre throws a hook to the side of Kuzmenko's head but Kuzmenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kuzmenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kuzmenko clinches up with Silvestre and pushes him back against the cage.

A nice left hand lands by Kuzmenko.
Still in the clinch, Kuzmenko scores with a nice short uppercut.

Silvestre lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kuzmenko backwards.
Kuzmenko throws an elbow but it misses.

Silvestre scores with a punch to the head.
Kuzmenko slips a jab from Silvestre.
Silvestre might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Kuzmenko throws a right hand that Silvestre ducks under and follows up with a left that Silvestre also avoids with ease.
Silvestre looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kuzmenko lands a right hand from hell, dropping Silvestre. Kuzmenko pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andriy Kuzmenko!
