Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Donnelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Liam Donnelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesus Dude!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dude cracks Donnelly with a good jab.
Dude's coach down at Abobomination Training $700 13 LEGIT elite coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dude's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Donnelly shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Donnelly showed some decent athleticism there.

Donnelly is working for a kimura but Dude is defending it quite comfortably.
Donnelly passes the guard and advances to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dude gets back to half guard.
Dude has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Donnelly is working away from the top position though.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dude really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Donnelly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dude is trying to maintain the position but Donnelly is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dude unleashes a big counter combination but Donnelly bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Donnelly has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dude.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Donnelly closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Donnelly is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dude knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Donnelly is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dude is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Donnelly thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dude looks to land a combination but Donnelly avoids it well.

Jesus Dude seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Dude walks into a jab.
Dude loads up on a big right hand but Donnelly slips the punch.
Donnelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dude was well out of range. Poor timing from Donnelly.
Donnelly slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dude paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A good leg kick by Dude.
Donnelly takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Donnelly avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dude tries to move into range but Donnelly moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looked like Donnelly was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dude.
Dude lands an overhand right.
A nice inside leg kick there by Donnelly. That's going to slow Dude down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dude lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Donnelly circles away quickly and effectively.
Donnelly drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dude sprawls and moves away.
Donnelly throws a low kick but Dude moves out of range easily.
Dude lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Dude misses with a body shot.
Donnelly was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dude throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Jesus Dude is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dude throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Donnelly feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Dude misses with a low kick.
Donnelly throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Donnelly works the jab nicely.
A clash of legs there as Dude blocks the low kick.
Dude throws a lazy right hand but Donnelly sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dude uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Donnelly.

Donnelly fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dude sprawls well initially but Donnelly persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Donnelly has hold of Dude's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dude tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Donnelly cranks the arm and Dude screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dude, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
