Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Pawlak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duff McKagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jan Pawlak has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Pawlak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Duff McKagan!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawlak scores with a sloppy right hand. McKagan should have avoided that one.
Pawlak lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Pawlak lands a really nice looking cross but McKagan seems unphased.
McKagan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
McKagan on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Pawlak lands a head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pawlak tests McKagan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pawlak thows a left - swing and a miss!

That's one minute gone in the round.
McKagan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pawlak.
McKagan feints the counter takedown.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
McKagan blocks a jab.
McKagan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Pawlak lands a glancing blow to the side of McKagan's head.
Pawlak defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McKagan.
Pawlak lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pawlak is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McKagan has a takedown stuffed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pawlak scores with a shot to the body.
Pawlak jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pawlak scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Pawlak missing with a left hand there. McKagan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pawlak backing away here, and McKagan unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pawlak ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McKagan moves away.
McKagan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Pawlak catches McKagan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Pawlak pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McKagan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pawlak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McKagan somewhat.
Jan Pawlak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duff McKagan.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pawlak scores with a jab. McKagan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pawlak dodges the punch combination from McKagan.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McKagan defending well as Pawlak loads up on a big left hand.
And McKagan tries to counter it with a takedown but Pawlak pushes his down on his head and steps out.
McKagan walks into a straight right hand from Pawlak.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jan Pawlak dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Pawlak bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


McKagan is rocked!
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McKagan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pawlak has got the better of the exchanges.
McKagan bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Pawlak comes at him with an uppercut from hell! McKagan falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! McKagan was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jan Pawlak!
