Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel has chosen Kollegah - Bossaura as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Robinson lands in his opponent's guard.

Steel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Robinson is fighting to break Steel's control of his arms but Steel is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Steel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Robinson.

Steel leaves Robinson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Steel counters with a thumping low kick.
David Steel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Steel.
Steel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Robinson feints and as Steel raises his hands in defense, Robinson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Robinson throws a strike but Steel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Steel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Robinson's guard.

Steel looks to land a combination. Robinson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Steel throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Robinson throws out a leg kick but Steel moves out of range and Robinson only half commits.

and Steel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Robinson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Robinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steel swivels and escapes.

Steel lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A nice inside leg kick there by Steel. That's going to slow Robinson down.

Robinson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steel tries to avoid it but Robinson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steel to the ground. Steel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A little jabbing left from Steel on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Robinson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A slapping leg kick lands for Steel.
Robinson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Donk. Steel catches Robinson right on the button with a cross.
Steel has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Steel looks to land a combination but Robinson avoids it well.
Robinson goes for a double leg but Steel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Steel continues to drive forward.
David Steel seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Horrible takedown attempt by Robinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Steel, which made it look bad.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Steel jabs Robinson right on the nose. Robinson blinks but takes it well.
Steel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Steel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Robinson on the side of the head.
Steel lands a big head kick that sends Robinson to the canvas! Steel follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

A relieved looking David Steel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
