The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li avoids the body shot from Dos Santos.
Dos Santos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Li gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dos Santos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Li misses with a takedown
and Li takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dos Santos lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Li backs up against the cage.

Li shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dos Santos as he avoids it easily.

Dos Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dos Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dos Santos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Li wants to stand but Dos Santos is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Li's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dos Santos connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Li scrambles back to his feet.
Oscar Dos Santos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
