The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hershel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lindblom.

Lindblom gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hershel is in close to Lindblom's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hershel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hershel changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lindblom tries to clinch but Hershel moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hershel. Lindblom does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lindblom gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hershel to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hershel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hershel is working Lindblom over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hershel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lindblom defend it? Hershel steps over the head and cranks it - Lindblom is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hershel!
