Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martti Molski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Kocur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kocur has chosen Head Crusher - Megadeth as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Kocur!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kocur throws a body shot but no joy.
Kocur keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kocur misses with an uppercut. Molski saw that one coming.
Molski misses the jab.
Kocur lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Nice body kick from Kocur.
Kocur has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kocur avoids the head kick by Molski.
Molski lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Molski shoots in looking for a takedown. Kocur tries to sprawl out of it but Molski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kocur manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Molski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Kocur tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Molski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Molski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kocur can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I was talking to Molski's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Kocur dances in with a quick combination. Molski is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kocur snaps Molski's head back. Molski stumbles backwards against the cage. Kocur steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Molski's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Molski just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joey Kocur! Joey Kocur retains his light heavyweight title!
During a confident post fight interview, Joey Kocur thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
