Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandr Saitiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Trew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saitiev comes to the cage accompanied by Dan Severn Theme. Archie Trew has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saitiev shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Aleksandr Saitiev has been cut.
Trew throws a nice outside leg kick.
Saitiev has his takedown stuffed
and Trew connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Saitiev shoots in looking for a takedown but Trew manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Saitiev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And Trew responds with a good body kick, but Saitiev manages to step out the way in time.
Trew bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Trew lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Trew scoring well with a low kick there.
Trew connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Saitiev shoots in looking for a takedown. Trew tries to sprawl out of it but Saitiev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trew manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksandr Saitiev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
