The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gasanov misses with a series of wild punches.
Roberts shoots and misses
and Gasanov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Marv Roberts has been cut.
Nice uppercut there from Gasanov.
Gasanov connects with a looping right hand.
Gasanov works Roberts's body with a nice hook.
Gasanov lands with a shot to the body.
Roberts tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gasanov defends well and Roberts ends up having to push Gasanov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gasanov is looking to counter punch.
Roberts tries for a takedown but Gasanov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mamed Gasanov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marv Roberts.

Gasanov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gasanov fails to land with a series of punches.
Gasanov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Gasanov closes the distance and lands a one-two.
