Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Fighter will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sam Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter scores with a nice body kick.
Fighter tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tucker counters with a right hand to the body.
No luck for Fighter with that takedown attempt.

Fighter looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fighter controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Fighter might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fighter scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fighter just content to control the position.
Fighter postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter working the head with strikes.
Fighter passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Tucker!
Tucker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tucker tries to get out of the position.
Fighter lands a big shot there that rocks Tucker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tucker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Tucker tries to lock up and control but Fighter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tucker is working to get back to half guard.
Fighter takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Tucker defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Fighter.
Fighter controlling the pace for now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Fighter get's back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam Fighter dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fighter shoots in for a double leg but Tucker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tucker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fighter.
Tucker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fighter throws a sloppy head kick and Tucker moves out of range easily.
Tucker was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Fighter wants to clinch.
Tucker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fighter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fighter on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Fighter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter defending well as Tucker loads up on a big left hand.
Fighter throws a combination. Tucker tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Tucker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fighter under the eye.
Fighter wants to clinch.
Fighter with a lazy takedown attempt
and Tucker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tucker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tony Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Fighter.
Fighter misses with a takedown attempt - Tucker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tucker swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Fighter is breathing heavily.
Fighter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tucker counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A cross from Tucker lands.
Fighter on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Fighter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fighter walks into a jab.
Tony Tucker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tucker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fighter has his takedown stuffed
and Tucker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Fighter is rocked!
Sam Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fighter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tucker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tucker is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Fighter has his takedown stuffed
and Tucker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tucker throws a big shot that misses.
Fighter moves out of range as Tucker strikes.
Fighter has his takedown stuffed
and Tucker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tucker throws a jab when Fighter was well out of range.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tucker but Tucker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tucker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A jab from Tucker does it's job there.
Fighter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tucker.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tucker works the jab nicely.
Tucker misses with a hook. Fighter ducked under it nicely.
And Fighter tries to counter it with a takedown but Tucker pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tucker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fighter's hands.
Fighter shoots and misses
and Tucker counters with a crisp right that sends Fighter to the canvas! Tucker follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Tucker!
