Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dietrich Jager!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldstein scores with a jab to the head.
Jager throws a sloppy head kick and Goldstein moves out of range easily.
Jager avoids the body shot from Goldstein.

Goldstein avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jager connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Goldstein's hands.

Goldstein throws a shot to the body.
Goldstein scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Dietrich Jager has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jager throws a push kick but Goldstein slaps the foot to one side.
Goldstein throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Goldstein waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jager.
Goldstein looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Goldstein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jager was well out of range. Poor timing from Goldstein.
Donk. Goldstein catches Jager right on the button with a cross.

Goldstein scores with a leg kick.
Goldstein looks to throw the jab but Jager is out of range.
Jager lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Goldstein throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jager shoots in for a takedown but Goldstein shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Goldstein closes the distance and clinches.
Goldstein working aggressively here.
Jager lands a nice elbow.
Goldstein lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jager.
Goldstein misses with a hook to the ribs.
Goldstein misses with the head strike.
Goldstein tries a body shot but Jager blocks it.

Jager tries to break the clinch but Goldstein is controlling the position.

Goldstein tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jager's elbow.

Goldstein tries to throw a body punch but Jager avoids it by throwing Goldstein back against the cage.

Goldstein has hold of one of Jager's legs. Jager is fighting the takedown attempt but Goldstein gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Goldstein forces his way into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Goldstein in particular looking to stall.

Goldstein is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jager takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jager is looking for a sweep.
Goldstein lands an elbow.

Goldstein controls the position.
Goldstein working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Goldstein landing strikes.
Jager wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Goldstein looks up at the clock and then as Jager takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Goldstein smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goldstein advances to full mount.
Goldstein landing strikes, looking to finish!
Goldstein has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jager's face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goldstein postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Jager badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Goldstein around the waist but Goldstein pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Goldstein is the winner by TKO! Goldstein jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samson Goldstein!
