Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Murica, Fuck Yeah! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boyko Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mateus Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie lands with a straight right. Kersikov didn't see that one coming.
Kersikov throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gracie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kersikov.
Kersikov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Kersikov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gracie cracks the inside of Kersikov's front leg.
Kersikov misses with a right hand
and Gracie counters with a right hand to the body.
Kersikov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gracie.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot.
Gracie keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kersikov takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie tries to score with some ground and pound. Kersikov controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
You can see the frustration on Kersikov's face as Gracie controls the position.

Gracie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kersikov keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Kersikov is defending well.

Kersikov is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kersikov is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kersikov is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Pearson Spector Litt, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Gracie throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kersikov works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Kersikov is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie prevents Kersikov from improving his position.

Gracie in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kersikov tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gracie!
