Corrida kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shadowhunter. Richard Callaghan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Juan Corrida's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 42 - 23 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Callaghan!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callaghan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Corrida throws a leg kick which misses Callaghan's front leg but catches the back leg as Callaghan tries to avoid it.

Callaghan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Corrida shoots in for a double leg but Callaghan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Corrida shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Callaghan is looking to control Corrida's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Callaghan avoid being mounted?

Corrida is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Callaghan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Callaghan's back!
Juan Corrida is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Callaghan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Corrida gets his way!
