The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHaggardy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
McHaggardy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Richardson.
Richardson loads up on a big right hand but McHaggardy slips the punch.
McHaggardy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Nate Richardson has been cut.
Richardson lands with an overhand left.
Richardson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McHaggardy doesn't seem bothered though.
McHaggardy blocks a jab.
Richardson throws a big shot that misses.
McHaggardy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Richardson.
Richardson slips a straight right by McHaggardy.
Jab, jab by Richardson - just one landing.
Richardson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McHaggardy manages to avoid it.

McHaggardy waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Richardson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Richardson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Richardson is rocked!
McHaggardy forces his way into half guard.
Oh Richardson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

McHaggardy is taking a breather. Richardson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
