I think Aubin Mercier might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Classified - Oh Canada. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aubin Mercier fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Khali sprawls well initially but Aubin Mercier persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Khali tries to kick Aubin Mercier off in order to stand up. Aubin Mercier Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Khali is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Aubin Mercier asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Khali tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Khali is trying to get back to his feet but Aubin Mercier has full control of the position and if anything, Khali has just worked his way into a worse spot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
