A momentary lapse in concentration from Martinez enables Thomas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Martinez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Martinez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
