These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Militia fails to land the takedown.
Militia shoots in looking for a takedown. Schwarzeneg tries to sprawl out of it but Militia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schwarzeneg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A quick step to the side and Schwarzeneg tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Roger Schwarzeneg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stan Militia.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schwarzeneg jumps guard and drags Militia to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've been hearing good reports from Schwarzeneg's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
