Schelokov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sirens . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schelokov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mead's head backwards.

Mead doesn't manage to clinch there - Schelokov circles away.
Schelokov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Oh Mead is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mead tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mead seems to have got his legs back now.
Schelokov feints and then cracks Mead's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mead down.

Schelokov lands a left and a right that sends Mead crashing to the canvas! Schelokov dives into mount looking to finish!
A big strike lands for Schelokov! That's really hurt Mead and he's turned his back - Schelokov keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Schelokov jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
