Earlandson has chosen the theme from titanic as his entrance music. Taco Bueno had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Taco Bueno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kermit Earlandson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bueno stuffs the takedown.
Earlandson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bueno tries to avoid it but Earlandson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bueno to the ground. Bueno escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Earlandson or perhaps it was just good defense by Bueno, which made it look bad.
Taco Bueno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kermit Earlandson.
Earlandson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Earlandson looks for a takedown but Bueno sprawls well.

and Bueno counters with a straight right hand.

Bueno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Earlandson feints the counter takedown.
Earlandson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bueno was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bueno throws a leg kick that is checked
so Earlandson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bueno is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Earlandson tries to free his leg and advance position but Bueno is retaining full guard.
Bueno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Earlandson's guard.

Bueno slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Earlandson working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bueno has passed into half guard!
Earlandson is trying to control but Bueno passes into side control!
Bueno scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Earlandson to see if he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Earlandson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bueno off and has taken his back!
Bueno tries to break free.
Bueno breaks Earlandson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Bueno trying to control the position from guard on top but Earlandson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bueno wants to lay and pray for a moment but Earlandson keeps working.
Bueno is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Earlandson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bueno passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Earlandson!

Bueno looking to control but Earlandson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Earlandson is looking to get to half guard.
Earlandson is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
Bueno landing strikes, looking to finish!
Earlandson is trying desperately to improve position.
Earlandson sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Earlandson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bueno defends well and Earlandson ends up having to push Bueno into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Earlandson.
Earlandson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kermit Earlandson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Earlandson shoots in looking for a takedown but Bueno manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Earlandson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bueno lunges at Earlandson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Earlandson's hand.
Earlandson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Taco Bueno overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bueno is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Earlandson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bueno doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Earlandson.

Earlandson wants to control from the top but Bueno keeps moving.

Earlandson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Earlandson seems to have locked his on tight now - Bueno screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Earlandson, as he picks up the win!
