Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corbin Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hashimoto comes to the cage accompanied by Holding Out For A Hero (Japanese Version). Murphy has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 51 - 24 - 4, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keiji Hashimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corbin Murphy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy moves out of range as Hashimoto throws a body kick.
Murphy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hashimoto. Murphy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Murphy checks a leg kick.
Hashimoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Murphy tries to sprawl out of it but Hashimoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murphy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hashimoto lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Murphy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hashimoto swings for the body but Murphy moves out of range.
Hashimoto throws the kick towards the body but Murphy avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hashimoto moves away from the strike by Murphy.

Hashimoto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Murphy is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hashimoto tries to score with some ground and pound. Murphy controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Murphy has the hooks in. Hashimoto is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Hashimoto manages to reverse the position and now he's in Murphy's guard. Nice work there by Hashimoto.

Hashimoto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to avoid it but Hashimoto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murphy to the ground. Murphy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hashimoto throws the left hand but Murphy avoids the punch easily.
Murphy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hashimoto manages to avoid it.
Murphy stuns Hashimoto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Hashimoto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murphy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hashimoto somewhat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Keiji Hashimoto will probably get the nod.
