Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hector Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Ridgeway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ridgeway has chosen The Forgotten War as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hector Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mathew Ridgeway!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ridgeway tries to avoid it but Harris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ridgeway to the ground. Ridgeway escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ridgeway stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet.
Ridgeway tries to counter with a clinch but Harris shakes him off and moves away.

Harris looks for a takedown but Ridgeway sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harris gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ridgeway counters with a nice body shot.
Harris has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Ridgeway keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Ridgeway tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ridgeway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ridgeway throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Harris takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ridgeway throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Harris has a takedown stuffed.
Ridgeway wants to counter the offense by Harris and move into the clinch position.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Harris just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ridgeway's brow.

Ridgeway tries to work over Harris's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Harris looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ridgeway lands a right hand from hell, dropping Harris. Ridgeway pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
