Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerard Esqueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nem Sis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Esqueda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cant del Barça. Sis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tsunami. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sis has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Esqueda closes the distance but Sis moves to the side
and Sis counters with a good low kick that Esqueda was not able to check.
Esqueda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Sis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Well Sis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
