The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adekambi looks to land a combination. Njewel sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Adekambi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Njewel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Adekambi misses with a body shot.
Adekambi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Njewel.

Crunch! Adekambi slams his shin into Njewel's torso.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Njewel working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Njewel has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Adekambi's face.

Njewel is pawing at Adekambi, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Adekambi's nose. Adekambi is badly hurt! Njewel pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Adekambi tries desperately to hold on but Njewel is relentless in his assault! As Adekambi receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Njewel away and this one is in the books!
