Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Janus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janus is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bodyjar - Not The Same. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Janus rushes Imanari and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Imanari gets underhooks to prevent Janus's takedown attempt.
Janus keeps control of Imanari as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Imanari wants a takedown but no success here.
Janus looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Imanari is pressed up against the cage. Janus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Imanari down to the mat. Imanari avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Janus takes the fight into the clinch.

Janus is trying to trip Imanari. He has hold of a leg but Imanari is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Janus persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Imanari is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Janus is aware though and is defending well.

Janus is pushing down on Imanari's leg trying to pass to half guard. Imanari is fighting to maintain full guard but Janus has managed to sneak the leg through.

Imanari is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Imanari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Janus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Janus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Janus drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Janus seems to have locked his on tight now - Imanari screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Janus, as he picks up the win!
