The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Joe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Joe wants to control but Taroni is keeping him busy.

Joe is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Taroni has managed to free his arm - good work.
Taroni wants to get back to full guard.
Joe is trying to control. Taroni wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Joe is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Taroni to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Taroni shrugs it off.
Joe lands a couple of good shots and Taroni has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Joe is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Taroni won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Joe off his unconscious opponent!

A very excited looking Rodeo Joe rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
