Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Vang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edgar Cano!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cano gets a double leg takedown into Vang's guard.
Vang throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cano prevents Vang from getting back to his feet.
Cano advances to half guard.
Vang is in trouble now - Cano has advanced to mount!
Cano jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Vang manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Cano has an Americana. Vang didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cano is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cano hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
