Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Proctor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Huey Lewis and The News - Hip To Be Square. On his way into the cage it seems that Patrick Bateman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Patrick Bateman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick Bateman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Proctor!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Bateman does it's job there.
Bateman misses with a shot to the body
and Proctor counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Bateman scores with a decent looking hook.
Bateman connects with a leg kick. Proctor looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bateman misses with a double jab.
Bateman misses with an uppercut. Proctor saw that one coming.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Proctor! But no joy.
Bateman throws a hook but Proctor avoids it easily.
Bateman misses the jab.
Proctor moves away from the strike by Bateman.
Patrick Bateman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bateman on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Bateman throws an off balance right hand
and Proctor counters with a nice body kick.
Bateman is breathing heavily.
Proctor throws a head kick that misses.
Bateman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bateman throws an off balance right hand
and Proctor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bateman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Proctor circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bateman misses with a hook
and Proctor counters with a nice kick to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Proctor.
Proctor throws a good cross that connects.
Proctor throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bateman's head.
Bateman throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Proctor counters with a nice right hand that sends Bateman toppling to the canvas! Bateman scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Proctor finish him?!


It looks like Patrick Bateman has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick by Proctor - that's a beauty! Bateman is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Proctor can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Michael Proctor!
In his post fight interview, Michael Proctor started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
