Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by REMIX Turn Down. Ian McCall will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Amir Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ian McCall!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCall clinches up with Griffin and pushes him back against the cage.
McCall can't find room to land a body shot as Griffin controls the action.
McCall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Griffin.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
McCall working some nice short punches in the clinch.
McCall is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
McCall trying to control the position but instead, Griffin has worked for underhooks and has pushed McCall into the cage.
Griffin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McCall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McCall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Griffin is trying to drag McCall to the mat but McCall just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
McCall tries a body shot but Griffin blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCall missing with knees to the body.
McCall goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Griffin jumps guard but McCall turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amir Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCall trying to control the position but instead, Griffin has worked for underhooks and has pushed McCall into the cage.

Griffin drags the fight down to the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McCall wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Griffin's closed guard. He's half up but Griffin has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Griffin pivots and extends the arm, McCall falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Griffin! Well done that man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Amir Griffin!
As Amir Griffin got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I am retiring after this fight so thanks to everyone I will miss all of you Cheers!'.
