Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladmir Chekov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zach Mettenberger!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mettenberger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chekov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mettenberger tries to avoid it but Chekov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mettenberger to the ground. Mettenberger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mettenberger unleashes a big counter combination but Chekov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Chekov shoots in for a double leg but Mettenberger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Chekov has his takedown stuffed
and Mettenberger counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Vladmir Chekov has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladmir Chekov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chekov tries to clinch there but Mettenberger circles away.

Mettenberger walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Chekov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Mettenberger swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Chekov's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
