The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wunderkind is out of range and Halo settles back down.
Halo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Wunderkind takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Halo checks a leg kick nicely.
Wunderkind lands a head shot.
Wunderkind displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
A slow jab from Halo misses its intended target.
A telegraphed right hand from Wunderkind misses the target.
Halo looks to throw the jab but Wunderkind is out of range.
Halo tests Wunderkind's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Halo clinches.
Wunderkind crunches a lovely knee into Halo's ribcage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wunderkind pushes Halo back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Wunderkind lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Halo.
Halo is breathing heavily.
Halo misses with a punch to the body.
Wunderkind throws a knee to the head but misses.
Halo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

A nice right hand lands inside from Wunderkind.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Wunderkind tries a knee to the head but Halo blocks it.
Wunderkind scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Xiomar Halo has been cut.
Wunderkind using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Halo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Wunderkind misses with a knee strike.
Halo lands a hook to the side of the head.
Halo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wunderkind throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Halo blocks it with crossed arms.
We've been informed that Wunderkind has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Come on Wunderkind - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Wunderkind misses with a hook to the ribs.

Wunderkind breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Halo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wunderkind goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A head kick misses from Wunderkind.
Wunderkind throws a wild body kick that Halo sees coming a mile off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wunderkind looks to land a right hand but Halo moved out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Halo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wunderkind's head backwards.

It looks like Serj Wunderkind has been cut.
Halo throws a jab but it's blocked by Wunderkind.
Halo plants his feet and throws a devastating head kick! It connects square on Wunderkind's ear and has knocked him out cold! No need for a count here as the referee immediately tends to a stricken Wunderkind, crumpled in the corner! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Xiomar Halo!
Xiomar Halo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
