Judo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Da Mystery of Chessboxin by Wu-Tang Clan. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tyrone Bate enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

33 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Tyrone Bate!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bate throws a leg kick but Judo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Good work by Judo as he checks the leg kick.
Judo moves in looking to clinch but Bate pushes him off.
Bate fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Judo checks it well.
Jack Judo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Bate misses
and Judo counters with a nice body shot.
Judo closes the distance and clinches.
Judo lands with a light punch inside.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Judo.
Bate tries to work over Judo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Judo tries a body shot but Bate blocks it.
Judo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bate lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Judo struggles to land a body shot inside as Bate controls his hands.
Bate blocks a body shot from Judo.
Judo pulls guard effortlessly.
Judo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bate defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Judo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Judo working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bate has passed into half guard!
Judo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Judo works his way to full guard. Good work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bate looking to improve position, pressing down on Judo's thigh with his hand. Judo seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Bate paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Bate's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Judo picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jack Judo!
