Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusty Madson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dusty Madson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Barnes.
A punch combination from Barnes misses.
Barnes tries to clinch up.
Madson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Barnes throws a big shot that misses.
Barnes is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Madson.
Madson clobbers Barnes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Barnes is rocked!
Madson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barnes.
Oh Barnes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barnes throws a jab but it's blocked by Madson.
Barnes seems to have got his legs back now.
Barnes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Madson drops Barnes with a naaaaasty hook - Barnes is in real trouble here! Madson dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dusty Madson!
Dusty Madson is the new welterweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Dusty Madson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
