Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rustam Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kabuto Wakizashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov comes into the arena with ЦельРазгроl blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Rustam Kersikov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rustam Kersikov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rustam Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabuto Wakizashi!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov missing with a left hand there. Wakizashi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wakizashi swings for the body but Kersikov moves out of range.

As Wakizashi backs away, Kersikov returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Wakizashi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wakizashi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kersikov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round but I would say that Rustam Kersikov will probably get the nod.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Wakizashi might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kersikov has got the better of the exchanges.

Well Kersikov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
